01 — Business & Growth Context
- Is the project clearly linked to a growth objective (e.g. market expansion, repositioning, digital upgrade)?
- Is the business in a stable or scaling phase, not in decline or distress?
- Is there internal buy-in from leadership and relevant budget holders?
02 — Project Scope & Viability
- Is the project clearly defined with deliverables, outcomes and timelines?
- Does the project align with the company’s stage, sector and strategy?
- Are the goals (brand lift, lead gen, conversion, etc.) commercially realistic?
03 — Budget + Funding Fit
- Is the funding request proportionate to business size and growth potential?
- Would spreading the cost materially improve the business’s ability to proceed?
- Is CCC’s funding model (term, repayment, interest) aligned with project delivery and value realisation?
04 — Creative & Delivery Risk
- Who is delivering the work – Creative Clinic, partner agency or external firm?
- Are there clear milestones, accountability, and a history of delivery?
- Has CCC reviewed and signed off on the scope and commercial logic of the proposal?
05 — Repayment Confidence
- Is the business a limited company or registered charity with a trading history?
- Do they have a consistent revenue base or funding to meet monthly repayments?
- Are there sufficient controls or safeguards (e.g. IP retention, staged access, DNS, etc.) to mitigate default risk?
06 — Long-Term Value Potential
- Will the project create an asset that drives value over time (e.g. brand equity, digital conversion, campaign results)?
- Is there clear alignment between spend and strategic transformation?
